PREVIEW: CUP TRIP TO MANCHESTER FOR PANTHERS
The Nottingham Panthers are straight back into action with a trip to Altrincham today to face Manchester Storm in the Challenge Cup (5:30pm).
Panthers picked up two huge Elite League points last night with a 3-2 victory over Cardiff Devils at the Motorpoint Arena.
The Panthers have already won once on-the-road against the Storm with a 4-2 success in the cup on the opening weekend of the season.
Head Coach, Jonathan Paredes, said: "That was a happy win for us last night and we played the way I want to see us play.
"But we have another battle today against Manchester. They have a small rink and will play a tough game. We have to ready for them."
Team News in association with Evolve Injury Clinic
The Panthers will be without forwards Ollie Betteridge and Jordan Kelsall for tonight's game in Altrincham.
Both players are out with upper body injuries, but the medical staff are hopeful both will be back in action soon.
