It's the first of two games in the cup this weekend with Guildford Flames visiting the Motorpoint Arena tomorrow (Saturday) at 7pm.

Nottingham were beaten on their visit to Altrincham in pre-season, but won their final away game of pre-season last weekend with a 2-1 victory over Cardiff Devils after penalty-shots.

Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "Manchester are well coached. Mike Flanagan is a very experienced coach and a smart guy.

"You can tell they are very well drilled and of course it's always tough in that building.

"They always work hard and they seem to have a next level of compete this year early-on.

"You have to go in there and be at your best, that's for sure."
