PREVIEW: PANTHERS TRAVEL TO GLASGOW CLAN
🎟 NEXT AT HOME: SUN 6TH OCT v FIFE (4PM) - BUY TICKETS 🎟
Nottingham Panthers play their first Elite League game of the season tonight with a trip to Scotland to face Glasgow Clan (7:30pm).
Both sides go into the game on the back of road victories in the Challenge Cup last Sunday.
Panthers skated to a 3-2 victory at Coventry Blaze thanks to an overtime winner from forward Tim Doherty.
The Clan won a nine-goal thriller 5-4 at the home of their Scottish rivals Dundee Stars.
Former Panthers player and coach Corey Neilson - now in charge of the Clan - coaches against his former club for the first time.
The trip to Scotland also means Logan Neilson plays against his brother Cade for the first time in a professional game.
Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "Glasgow have a lot of depth for sure. Their forward group is as good as anybody.
"They have four lines that can go out there on any given situation and play - and they're obviously scoring a lot of goals right now.
"It's going to be a tough test and it will be pretty full with a lot of energy in the building.
"We have to make sure we go up there in the right frame of mind and make sure we execute for 60 minutes."
