It was a thrilling night on home ice as over 5,500 people roared Panthers to secure two points in the opening Elite League home game of the season.

Panthers are back in home action on Saturday (12th October) as Cardiff Devils visit the Motorpoint Arena (7pm).

The game - which is sponsored by NG Chartered Surveyors - is in the Challenge Cup with both sides battling it out to qualify for the knockout stages.

The Devils are coached by Great Britain Head Coach Peter Russell and have a number of ex-Panthers players in their line-up, including Ben Bowns, Mark Richardson, Evan Mosey and Brett Perlini.
