REST IN PEACE ERIC SHAW

The Nottingham Panthers are sad to hear the news that Eric Shaw passed away this week.

Eric used to play the organ at our old home, the Nottingham Ice Stadium.

Organs at ice hockey is a tradition that dates back to the 1920s and Eric used to entertain the crowd in Nottingham at the old rink on a weekly basis.

Anyone who attended matches in this old rink will have their own great memories of Eric and his skills on the organ.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Rest in Peace Eric.
