The Nottingham Panthers forward-turned-defenceman Fab Ricci chats to Panthers TV - in association with Jeremias Chimney Systems - ahead of the exciting festive period.
Panthers host Glasgow Clan tomorrow at the Motorpoint Arena in the Viaplay Elite League (7:30pm), before back-to-back matches with Sheffield Steelers and Coventry Blaze.
Ricci, who has made the smooth transition to a defenceman with Panthers missing Duggie Lagrone, Craig Moore and Archie Hazeldine in recent weeks, reveals the change of role means he's joined a special club.
"At the end of the day, I will do anything to help the team be successful and it feels like we're rolling now," said Ricci. "I feel comfortable after a few games and I am looking to improve.
"As Rick (Strachan) said, I am joining the brotherhood on defence and I have definitely been welcomed into the brotherhood.
"It's funny when I have to bounce between forward and defence during a game it's like I have to cross a hard border, so I might have to bring my passport.
"It's all good and we're having fun. We're doing well collectively as a team and I will do anything I can to be a part of that either on the back end or front end."
