RICCI: WE'RE HURTING AS WE KNOW THE FANS ARE HURTING

Fabrizio Ricci spoke with Panthers Radio after training today to give a very honest interview about the position the club are in this season.

Panthers, who lost twice last weekend and are now seventh in the Viaplay Elite League table, host Dundee Stars at the Motorpoint Arena tomorrow night (7:30pm face-off).

Ricci said: "The fans are hurting and we're hurting because the fans are hurting. The position we're in is not good for anybody and we know that.

"We have a lot of players in the room that want to move forward and bring championships to this club. We are having to stay focused, stay positive.

"We have clinched playoffs and we're in the quarter-finals - and that's something we have to focus on.

"The next five games have to be a turn switch on momentum builder for the playoffs. Our aim is to go into the playoffs and make the final four and anything can happen.

"We know we can win a trophy still and that's a reality. We thank the fans for their support and we know that trophy is still attainable. We just have to come together and play hard."
