The former Nottingham Panthers forward Ryan Shmyr joins Panthers TV - in association with Jeremias Chimney Systems - to chat about a famous playoff memory.

The current Panthers roster is busy preparing for this weekend's two-legged quarter-final with Guildford Flames, starting with tomorrow's first leg at the Motorpoint Arena (7pm).

Shmyr played for the Panthers for two seasons from 2006 to 2008, winning the playoffs and Challenge Cup.

He talks about...

- The crazy 2007 playoff quarter-final with Sheffield, which saw a non-playing injured Steelers player end up in the Motorpoint Arena photography pit throwing punches and a dramatic penalty shootout win in the second leg.

- The high-five of the Steelers bench in the 2008 Challenge Cup final.

- The unique bond of the two rosters he played on in Nottingham and how it helped the team win.

- His fond memories of the city and supporters.

- How he ended up playing the enforcer role in his career.

- What he's up to in life after hockey.
