SILVER MEDAL FOR HOPKINS AND HAZELDINE WITH GB U20S
The Nottingham Panthers youngsters Archie Hazeldine and Jack Hopkins helped Great Britain win the silver medal at the IIHF U20 Men's World Championship Division II Group A in Kaunas.
Hopkins led the tournament on 11 points with five goals and six assists and was named as the Great Britain Supporters Club Player of the Tournament.
Hazeldine, who was named Alternate Captain, was solid on the blueline and chipped in with a goal against Croatia.
GB won four out of their five matches, beating Lithuania (4-3), Romania (9-0), Netherlands (7-0) and (Spain 3-1), but their 7-4 defeat by Croatia proved crucial.
Croatia were promoted to Division I with the gold medal, while hosts Lithuania claimed bronze.
