The Nottingham Panthers forward Tanner Sorenson talks with Panthers Radio, in association with Xynomix.

Sorenson was lucky enough to get a ticket for Monday's Premier League match between Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa at the City Ground.

"I spent about eight hours over a two or three-day span investigating options and I was wary of any scammers," he said.

"But I got lucky and found someone who could not make it because of the scheduling change.

"It was a great experience and an awesome atmosphere with 30,000 people there.

"It was great to hear all the chants and the songs. The crowd was awesome and hopefully I can go again.

"I'm a Forest fan for life now. It's brilliant that they're in the top league.

"Some of my family love football, so for me to experience a Premier League game is really cool."

On the ice, Sorenson and his Panthers team-mates have been preparing for the upcoming three-game weekend.

Tomorrow night's Elite League game in Scotland against Dundee Stars will be followed by back-to-back home and away matches against Manchester Storm in the Challenge Cup.
