The Nottingham Panthers forward Tanner Sorenson admits the club are nowhere near where they should be in this season's Viaplay Elite League standings.
Panthers travel to Belfast on Sunday which comes five days after the Giants won 2-0 at the Motorpoint Arena.
After Sunday's roadtrip, Panthers then return home for back-to-back matches at home, with Cardiff Devils the visitors on Saturday 25th February (7pm) and Dundee Stars in town on Sunday 26th February (4pm).
Sorenson said: "With the crowd, the fans, the town - they expect a lot, which they should.
"This team should be a top team to play for in Europe, especially in this league.
"We are hard on ourselves individually and the coaching staff demand a lot.
"For me personally, I just want to end the year strong. Going into playoffs will be anyone's cup right now.
"You see Fife in the Challenge Cup final and it's nice to see that, it shows top to bottom anyone can win any night."
