Nottingham Panthers defenceman Matt Spencer talks to Panthers TV about the start of training camp.

The team's official Induction Day took place on Sunday and full pre-season training started on Monday at the Motorpoint Arena.

Spencer took time to chat with Panthers TV about how his first few days in the city have gone and his first impressions of his home for the next nine months.

He also explains the importance of this part of the season as the team form a bond that will lead them throughout the season.

Panthers get their pre-season campaign under way this Saturday against top Canadian university team University of Quebec-Trois Riviere (UQTR) at the Motorpoint Arena at 7pm.

The team are one of the powerhouses of the top Canadian university league, Usports, with its current alumni including players such as Christophe Boivin and Mathieu Lemay.
