The Nottingham Panthers Assistant Coach Rick Strachan says his side need to "get better every day" and finish the regular season strong ahead of the playoffs.
Panthers are on their way to Belfast for back-to-back Viaplay Elite League games against the Giants on Friday and Saturday this weekend.
Strachan said: "It's a process. I think we've made strides in all aspects of our game and now we need to be more consistent for 60 minutes.
"We want to get better every day and come playoff time, we want to make sure we can play for 60 minutes at a high level and get the job done."
It's a quick return to Belfast for the Panthers following their narrow aggregate Challenge Cup defeat by the Giants at the start of the month.
"Belfast are a complete team," added Strachan. "Good defence, good goalies and guys who can put the puck in the net on a regular basis.
"They're a solid hockey team, they're fast, they can play physical and they don't really have any weaknesses."
