SUNDAY: SAM OAKFORD IN SALTBOX FOR PRE-GAME SHOW

This Sunday's special guest on the Panthers Pre-Game Show in Saltbox is former defenceman Sam Oakford.

Oakford, who spent the early part of this career with Bracknell and Basingstoke, played for the Panthers in three seasons between 2014 and 2017.

He was part of the double-winning team in 2016 as Panthers beat Cardiff Devils to win the Challenge Cup and defeated Coventry Blaze to become playoff champions.

Oakford also represented Great Britain at the 2016 Olympic Qualifiers in Italy.

The pre-game show - presented by Sam Hurst - takes place in Saltbox each week from two hours ahead of face-off on a Nottingham Panthers matchday and gets under way this Sunday at 2pm.

There's also a chance to win Panthers prizes where contestants go on stage to answer three questions in the Face-Off competition.

And in the podcast, Sam Hurst and Sam Oakford are joined by former Panthers netminder Dan Green, as well as Media Manager Chris Ellis.

There's special offers too with 10 per cent off food and drink - and Panthers Beer for £5.

Sunday (4pm): Panthers v Fife Flyers
​On the ice, a crowd of over 5,000 will be in the building as Fife Flyers visit the Motorpoint Arena (4pm face-off).
