The Nottingham Panthers defenceman Josh Tetlow has returned to contact training after breaking his arm back in October.
The surgery at the end of last year was a success and the news is good as he looks set for a return to action within the next couple of weeks.
Lead Sports Therapist, Laura-Jo Bowler, said: "After surgery in November, Josh has been cleared by his surgeon to return to full-contact practice.
"Josh has been on the ice for around a month to work on conditioning whilst progressing with strength and rehabilitation off the ice. We hope to see him back in the line-up in a couple of weeks."
Panthers Radio caught-up with Tetlow to chat about his excitement about being close to match action, as well as discussing his commentary stint on the webcast last night with Dan Green and his hopes for the rest of the season.

Update on Ollie Betteridge and Tyler Welsh
Ollie Betteridge and Tyler Welsh continue their rehab from injury with no exact timeline on their return at the moment.
Laura-Jo added: "Ollie sustained a lower-body injury on 23rd December and has since been working with the medical and strength & conditioning team to get back on the ice.
"Ollie has been able to skate a few times this week and continues working on his rehab plan.
"Despite a lengthy rehabilitation process, the medical staff are keen to avoid rushing the process and risk issues further down the line.
"Tyler was pulled-out of the line-up as a precaution a few weeks ago. Further assessment showed-up an issue that has needed a little bit more time than first anticipated.
"He's working hard with the medical and strength & conditioning team to get back to the ice."
