The Nottingham Panthers defenceman Josh Tetlow is set to be out of action for up to three months with a broken arm.

Tetlow was on the end of a late hit during last night's victory at Dundee Stars in the Elite League.

He was taken to a local hospital in Dundee and then travelled back to Nottingham with the team last night.

Tetlow has been seen by specialists at the Queen's Medical Centre today and will have surgery in the very near future.

Once surgery has been completed, a clear indication will be known of the timescale of recovery from injury.

Head Coach, Jonathan Paredes, said: "Josh has made a great start to the season and it's so disappointing to lose him.

"He's a massive part of this roster and a popular guy in the room. All of us, of course, wish him a speedy recovery."
