THOUSANDS OF TEDDIES DELIVERED TO LOCAL COMMUNITY
Nottingham Panthers players have helped deliver thousands of teddies to the local community following last week's Teddy Bear Toss at the Motorpoint Arena.
The ice during Friday's match with Fife Flyers was a sight to behold with the teddies raining down from all parts of the arena.
The Panthers would like to thank our amazing supporters for all their donations, as well as members of the junior clubs and our armed services family and friends who helped clear the teddies, along with our own sellers on the night.
Craig Puffer, Fabrizio Ricci, Tanner Sorenson and Kelly Summers were on-hand yesterday to deliver the teddies across the community to those who need them most.
Nic Williams, from The Renewal Trust, said: "The Panthers fans were once again amazing - this year donating our biggest-ever collection of over 1,000 teddies.
"A huge thanks to the volunteers on the evening and members of Church@Community and STOP Tennent's Outreach who got all the teddies ready for delivery.
"It was great to visit some of the organisations we are supporting this year with some of the players too. It's amazing how many teddies you can squeeze into a Panthers car!
"The Renewal Trust are proud to be the community partner of the Nottingham Panthers and thank everyone at the club and all the fans that have made this year's Teddy Toss such a great success. Here's to another 10 years."
