Peterborough Phantoms forward Tom Palmer has joined Nottingham Panthers on a two-way contract.

The 22-year-old, who came through the Nottingham junior system, will ice this weekend against UQTR.

Palmer represented Nottingham Lions in NIHL 1 and moved to Sheffield Steeldogs in the NIHL in 2021-22, before moving to Peterborough in the summer.

Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "With us being down on bodies with players away at GB camp, we felt it was important to bring someone into the line-up.

"Tom is a hard-working and reliable player who has been training with us this week.

"It's great another young British prospect will get the chance to play at the top level."

Panthers against UQTR gets under way at 7pm tomorrow (Saturday) at the Motorpoint Arena.
